This year the colors for fall were so beautiful. I went on a walk and took 100's of pictures. Here are some of my favorite ones. Which ones do you like best?

Sophomore Review
Getting ready for the sophomore review at school has been really stressful. I wanted to put in all my best work, and make sure I had a variety of different media. I'm finally done setting up after lots of preparation and stress and I'm ready for the review in 3 days!

Dot Painting
This is a painting I did using acrylic paints. I created this using only small dots of paint. It took a long time because I had to do multiple layers and build up each object in the painting. I really enjoy the end result of the painting, and hope to do more using a similar style.

Hartwick During Fall
Here's some pictures I took for fun at Hartwick College. The colors this fall were really beautiful. I wanted to capture the views I get to experience every single day!

Balloon Festival
I went to a balloon festival towards the end of the summer in Oneonta, New York. These were some of the pictures that I took. It was a challenge to photograph because it was really dark. Every once in a while one balloon would light up, then another. However, they wouldn't usually light up at the same time, which was frustrating.

Sunflower
Here's a picture I took of a sunflower. Unlike my other photograph of the dead sunflowers, I wanted to show the close up beauty of one that's alive. I love the texture from the center of the flower in this photograph. I think the detail is amazing.

Sneakers
I took this photo the other day of a pair of sneakers. I wanted to play around with a picture of an object I see everyday. Here's the result.

Pier Photographs
Every year I go back to the same pier at the same beach and always try to take a picture different from the year before. It's interesting to see how it changes. The tide could be different, people could be under it, it's never the same and I find that intriguing.

Dead Flowers
I took a lot of pictures of these dead and dried up sunflowers. I wanted to make something people would look at as ugly and make it sort of beautiful. I'm still not sure if I like it better in color or in black and white. Any suggestions?
